The parish of Saint John Lutheran Church is a community devoted to spreading God's Love through ministries of prayer, education, music and community activities for people of all ages.

Announcements

Christmas Memorials - Monetary donations can be made until Dec. 14. Poinsettias will be used to decorate the altar and may be taken home after service on Christmas Day.

​​

Gifts for Seniors - We are collecting new unwrapped gifts for seniors, to be distributed by the Meriden Senior Center. Place any donations of unwrapped gifts in the box in the narthex by Dec 14

​

Coats for Seniors - We are collecting gently used or new coats to be distributed by the Senior Center. Please bring your items by Dec. 14.

Soup and Service - Join us for soup and service on Wednesdays during the Advent season. Sign up to bring your favorite soup or bread to share. Meal at 5:30 pm, Advent service begins at 7:00 pm on Dec. 3, 10, and 17.

Bible Study in 2026 - Join us Sunday mornings beginning Jan. 4 at 9 am as we explore the Epistle of James through the winter season. Widely believed to have been written by Jesus' brother James, this letter is a very practical guide for Christian life.
