The Chosen - Tuesdays in May (6, 20, 27) at 6pm in the lounge. Join us Tuesdays in May for the remainder of season 1 or The Chosen! This successful live action portrayal of the Gospel stories is a wonderful entree to learning God's holy word. We also will review and discuss the text upon which it is based. Coffee will be on!

Voters Meeting - Sunday, May 18 11:00 AM - Voter’s Meeting will be held in the fellowship hall with coffee and refreshments. All are encouraged to attend.

Special Service - The Ascension of Our Lord - Jesus ascended on high forty days after his resurrection. At St. John we will meet on Thursday, May 29 at 7:00 PM for our Ascension celebration! Join us for a full service and special music!

Ladies Book Study - If you are interested in attending a ladies' Christian book study, please text or call Wendy. Dates and times TBD.

Adopt a Seminarian - We have once again committed to "adopt" two student enrolled at Concordia Seminary. As these men prepare to devote themselves to serve God’s people with Christian love and joy, we can offer prayers, encouragement, and monetary support. Envelopes for monetary donations are available in the narthex.

Food Collections - We continue to collect non-perishable goods for the food pantry. Paper goods (toilet tissue, napkins, etc.) are also welcome. Place in bin in the alcove to the left of the narthex. Items are delivered monthly to the food pantry.
