Announcements
Ladies' Saturday Book Club - Starting on Oct. 10, the book club will be reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. This book is appropriate for children and young adults as well. All are welcome to join us! Contact Wendy for more information.
Preschool Butter Braid Fundraiser - Help support the St. John Preschool by purchasing a butter braid! Order forms are on a table in the narthex. Final date to order is Oct. 19. Delivery in November.
Pancake Breakfast - Join us Sat Oct. 24 from 8 to 10 am for our fall pancake breakfast. $5 per adult, children are free. We'll also have apple fritters for sale.
Potluck - Join us Sun Oct. 25 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for a potluck meal. Sign up sheet is in the narthex.
Join our Choirs - Have you ever wondered what it's like to be part of St. John's Handbell or Chorister Choir? Have you ever wanted to lend your voice and talents to the Lord in joyful praise? Consider joining either or both choirs! No musical experience is necessary. The only pre-requisite is the aspiration to serve our Lord in song! Come and join us in song and fellowship in service to our Lord. No auditions required.
Sunday Bible Study - Join us Sunday mornings at 9 am for adult class as we explore the theme of the week in the first reading, often from the Old Testament. We will study the first reading in its context, then how it applies to the Gospel of the week. The theme of each will stand on its own, so come to any or all sessions!
