Our Preschool
St. John Lutheran Preschool provides an atmosphere that encourages children to grow and develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.

Preschool age children are creative and receptive, and our staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities. Guided by Christian values, St. John Lutheran Preschool’s curriculum includes: free play time, stories, songs and finger plays; creative art projects and crafts; games and large motor activities; food preparation; science and nature activities; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters; and basic Christian education, including prayers and songs.

St. John Lutheran Preschool is licensed by the state of Connecticut. We are a parent co-op preschool. On a rotational basis, parents assist with class activities, and are asked to provide nutritional snacks for their assigned day.
